Spirit of Place Studio - Summer 2014

"The Crossing"

DownPatrick Head, County Mayo Ireland

The Spirit of Place Studio led by Architect Travis Price was a student design studio with a site located in Mayo, Ireland. Our design was wholly based upon the site and its context, the spirit of the people and the naturally occurring blowhole we were to design and construct an observatory around.

This project was awarded:

Best Design in Tourism Award, Ireland

AIA DC awards a Merit in Architecture to 'The Crossing'

2015 Faith & Form/IFRAA Award

Tasked with creating architectural construction drawings, precise 3D models and renderings with a multitude of software including but not limited to: AutoCAD, 3DSMax, Adobe Creative Suite.
